Combing operations in Manipur have led to the recovery of weapons and gear resembling military outfits, highlighting a growing problem for security agencies in the state. The operations have recovered bullet proof vests, fake military uniforms, military boots, walkie talkies, radio sets, and tear gas shells, as well as three unregistered vehicles painted in camouflage. The recovery of fake military uniforms suggests that civilians were posing as security personnel during ethnic clashes in the state. At least 178 people have died and 50,000 have been displaced in the clashes since May 3. | Latest News India
