IN BRIEF: SolGold to raise USD56 million for Ecuador investment

SolGold PLC - Australian gold & copper mining company - Intends to raise around USD50 million through placing to both existing and new institutional investors, and USD6.0 million through PrimaryBid.com retail offer.
Proceeds will go towards SolGold making a significant investment into Ecuador and its mineral assets as the outlook for the country improves.
The placing price will be determined at the close of the bookbuild, with Cantor Fitzgerald Canada Corp, H&P Advisory Ltd and Peel Hunt LLP acting as joint bookrunners.
