IMPD Arrests Man for October Murder

INDIANAPOLIS — Indy Metro Police have arrested a man for an October murder.
On Oct. 22, 2020, IMPD officers were called to the 3800 block of N. High School Road. There, officers found Walter Stein. Stein had been shot. He was taken to I.U. Health Methodist Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
On Tuesday, IMPD arrested 23-year-old Brandon McCormick for Stein’s murder. The Marion County Prosecutor’s Office will review the case and make a final charging decision.
