IL lawmaker calls for investigation of health risks from sewage exposure in Cahokia Heights

A BND special report revealed state and local health agencies hadn’t investigated the possible health effects of decades of sewage exposure. “I urge you to make the health of this community the priority it needs to be,” a state lawmaker wrote in a letter to the state health director.
