MILFORD, CT — Here is some 'sweet news' for Milford and nearby communities. Micalizzi's Italian Ice is opening a new location at the site of the former downtown Subway restaurant at 1 River St. in mid-May, reports the New Haven Register.
The legendary business is headquartered in Bridgeport and the Milford owners are Jay Piccirillo, owner of Micalizzi's Italian Ice, and Alex, John and Rick Vazzano, and Vincent Pezzella.
The well-known Italian Ice is sold throughout the state in grocery stores and restaurants, the Register reports.
