Taipei, Dec. 13 (CNA) Ice Monster, a chain store in Taipei that sells shaved ice desserts, said Sunday that it was temporarily closing its shop on Yongkang Street because of a slowdown in business since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Yongkang store, the first in the chain, will be closed temporarily by the end of the year, but those in Songgao Road and the Ximending area Ximen will remain open, the company said in a statement.
Ice Monster, which is famous for its signature mango ice desserts, first opened on Yongkang Street in 1997, then it moved to Zhongxiao East Road in 2012 and back to Yongkang in April 2019.
