ALEXANDRIA, VA — A temporary traffic shift will be implemented on King Street over Interstate 395 in Alexandria Monday, and a ramp closure from I-395 will happen for about two weeks.
The Virginia Department of Transportation announced the upcoming traffic impacts as part of the $13 million rehabilitation of King Street over I-395 project. Lane closures in both directions of King Street over I-395 will begin at 10 p.m. on Sunday, May 2 to 5 a.m. Monday, May 3 as crews install temporary striping for the traffic shift.
