Congress leaders alleged Revanth Reddy was stopped by police from going to Parliament.
HYDERABAD: Police personnel were deployed at Malkajgiri MP and Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) president A Revanth Reddy's house in Hyderabad on Monday morning to prevent him from visiting the government auctioned lands in Kokapet.
However, the Congress party alleged that police were preventing the MP from going to Parliament.
TPCC senior vice-president Mallu Ravi alleged that senior Congress leaders, including A Revanth Reddy, have been placed under house arrest by the police on Monday morning.
While the Congress leaders alleged Reddy was stopped by police from going to the Parliament, Banjara Hills ACP M Sudarshan said they had not prevented the MP from going to the Parliament.
