A Hyderabad-bound flight from West Bengal's Bagdogra had to make an emergency landing at the Birsa Munda Airport in Ranchi on Saturday after a 21-year-old patient on board suffered a seizure. The passenger was travelling alone from Bagdogra to Hyderabad and reportedly developed anxiety midway on the flight.
As per a report in the
Times of India, the 21-year-old was given first-aid and oxygen support by the flight attendants. However, her condition deteriorated further which forced the captain of the flight to make an emergency landing at the Ranchi airport. The passenger was taken to Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences (Rims) from the Ranchi airport for treatment.
