CLE ELUM, Wash. – The University of Washington men's golf team continued its solid play at the 2021 NCAA Cle Elum Regionals as they sit in third place with a 6-under 562 (280-282). Four Huskies find themselves in the top 10 heading into Wednesday's final 18 at Tumble Creek Golf Club led by freshman Teddy Lin who is tied for seventh.
"Three of our four counting players shot under par rounds today in tough, extremely windy conditions with showers on and off in a pressurized event," said head coach Alan Murray. I thought we did really well all things considered. Jan had an under par round as did Henry and Teddy was really good. Noah played like a team captain today. He has a big heart, scrapped so hard and showed a lot of his intangible qualities which was impressive. Petr just had a tough day and it's hard to follow up a 5-under round especially in these conditions. We moved up a spot on the leaderboard and are in decent position heading into tomorrow. There are a few teams ahead of us but we're going to try to catch up tomorrow."
