A married couple found dead inside their home in an apparent 'murder-suicide' had both been shot in the head, an inquest heard.
The bodies of Eric Angell, 71, and his 67-year-old wife Pauline were found at their home in Leigh-on-Sea, Essex, on April 10.
Police and paramedics had rushed to Tankerville Drive after concerns were raised for Mr and Mrs Angell's welfare, and the couple were found dead at the scene.
Essex Police is not looking for anyone in connection with their deaths.
An inquest was today told how Mrs Angell died of gunshot wounds to her head while her husband died of a single gunshot wound to his head.
