Although the state has loosened some pandemic restrictions recently, Huron Community Fair officials announced they were hopeful but cautious about this year’s plans.
“Obviously we are at the mercy of the numbers, size, scope and scale — whatever the state guidelines say,” fair board President Clark Brock said. “If things open up, we want to have the fair as usual, and we are hopeful. However, we are sitting at the middle of March and it’s not looking like that is going to happen very fast, so we are looking at alternative plans.”
