Huntington, N.Y., seeks record keeper for 457 plan

Huntington, N.Y., is searching for a record keeper for its $57 million 457 plan, said Lori E. Finger, the town’s director of purchasing.
The town issued an RFP due to state laws that require the services be put up for bid periodically, she said. Current record keeper MassMutual Financial is invited to rebid, she said.
The RFP is available on the town's website. Registration is required. Proposals are due at noon EDT on June 4. The timeline for a decision was not provided, but the new record keeper is scheduled to be implemented Aug. 18.
