The body of Zulu nation regent, Mantfombi Dlamini Zulu, arrived on Wednesday afternoon at the Kangela Royal Palace in Nongoma after being transported from Johannesburg, where she passed away.
Zulu maidens, amabutho and other members of the public lined the streets to salute the queen as the hearse carrying her body made it’s way to the palace.
Thokozani Khumalo, who lives a stone’s throw away from the Queen’s Palace said her arrival has lifted a weight from their shoulders.
