Human Rights Campaign Condemns North Carolina Senate for Passing Anti-Trans Sports Ban

Raleigh, North Carolina - June 20, 2023 - - Today, the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) - the nation's largest lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ+) civil rights organization - condemned the North Carolina Senate for passing House Bill 574, which would prohibit transgender students from participating in school sports consistent with their gender identity.
