Human remains found identified as missing Nevada man

Police have identified a Nevada man who had been missing since September 2019 using human remains found in a rural area of Elko County.
The remains were sent to the Washoe County Medical Examiner's Office and a DNA analysis confirmed the bone belonged to Douglas "Doug" Benjamin Hegge.

Police said in a statement that they had been investigating the disappearance of Hegge and Beth Agee-Morrison, both reported missing at approximately the same time. The two were reportedly together.
Agee-Morrison's remains were identified in September 2020 after authorities reported they found human bones in the Adobe Mountain Range area of Elko County.
