Hudson school board hires new director of operations
Thomas Barone replaces Steve Marlow; will earn $123,500 annually
HUDSON — The school district has a new director of operations.
The Hudson City School District Board of Education on Friday approved hiring Thomas Barone as director of operations. Barone will receive an annual salary of $123,500 starting Jan. 4 and will be paid $475 per day for any transition days he works between Dec. 21 and Dec. 31.
Barone's contract will run through July 31, 2022.
"I can't say enough, in words, how excited I am to join the team," said Barone. "…I think that the fit for me in Hudson couldn't be any better. I think that's really what's keeping me excited about being here this [Friday] morning."
