RIDING high after a shock 2-0 win over Argentina, the Olyroos return to action against the might of Spain at the Tokyo 2020 Men's Football Tournament on Sunday night.
The A-League was well represented during the Olyroos' triumph over Argentina in the first Group C fixture of the tournament, with 10 of the 15 players utilised by head coach Graham Arnold having featured in the league throughout the 2020/21 season.
The 2-0 win was decided by strikes from Western United speedster Lachlan Wales and teenage Melbourne City star Marco Tilio on either side of half-time. The result took Australia to the top of Group C after Spain drew with Egypt 0-0 in their first hit-out of the tournament.
