Thousands of Beaver Countians will head to the polls on Tuesday to decide which candidates will represent their party in November’s municipal election.
Registered voters can cast ballots from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on May 18 at their designated polling place, and must return all mail-in and absentee ballots themselves to the Beaver County Courthouse by 8 p.m. Tuesday.
Residents are asked to wear face coverings and socially distance if voting at a polling station.
Because Pennsylvania has a closed-primary system, only registered Democrats and Republicans will choose candidates this spring, although the county’s 15,000 third-party voters are eligible to vote on the state’s four ballot initiatives.
