I know that curling your hair with socks is a ~thing~ now, but, TBH, the end results are too inconsistent for me. I prefer to use
a more tried-and-tested method to achieve perfect heat-less curls: flexi rods. You can use them to curl your hair without risking the heat damage from a curling wand or having to deal with those rigid, more traditional rollers. can be a little hard to install.

So to help protect you from a hair emergency, I reached out to Tina Pearson, New Jersey-based salon owner and stylist, for all of the tips and products you need in order to nail a flexi rod set every single time.
