Burger King is heating up the chicken sandwich wars of 2021 once again with the arrival of its long-awaited offering – the Ch’King.
The Ch’King, which will arrive nationwide on June 3, is a hand-breaded chicken filet that is served on a toasted potato bun with pickles and a savory signature sauce. It is also offered as a Spicy Ch’King version that has a spicy glaze, and as a Deluxe option with lettuce and tomato but without pickles.
The burger chain said it spent the last two years perfecting the Ch’King, which was named by a customer who tried the menu item during the testing phase and side the chain should change its name from Burger King to Chicken King, CNBC reported.
