You can't have an indoor jungle without some water. But it's often the area where most beginners trip up.
All plants need water to live and grow, as part of photosynthesis. Some plants need more than others, and in an indoor environment without any rain, they're entirely dependent on you to provide the right amount.
Too little water can slow growth and result in the plant being continually stressed. But water too much and the plant's roots can suffocate and drown.
