New York State is set to lose a member of congress as a result of the latest Census results, in which other states gained population faster than New York.
That means a one of the state’s congressional districts will be eliminated and others will be redrawn.
Ryan Finnerty spoke with Plattsburgh State political scientist Harvey Schantz to learn how the redistricting process will work and what the political consequences may be.
