How President Tinubu Appointed Atiku's Sponsor, Umar Ajiya Into NNPCL Board As Financial Officer – Northern Group

President Bola Tinubu appointed Alhaji Umar Isa Ajiya, who sponsored the campaign of Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) as the Chief Financial Officer of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) a northern group has alleged. The group, the All Progressives Congress Northern Progressives for Asiwaju, on Tuesday faulted the appointment of Umar Ajiya saying it would be counterproductive for the party and for the country.
