Part of a poignant verse created for Phyllis Tenenbaum Mintz by eldest daughter, Rhonda, goes like this:
“You provided a great foundation on
Which to build my life.
You’ve kept our family together
Through good times and strife.
Without a doubt, you’re someone I treasure.
As far as Mother’s go, you’re beyond measure.”
Mother’s Day 2021 will be the first time the Tenenbaum sisters will observe the holiday without their sweet “mama” — a person they described as “fun, nurturing, supportive, outgoing and emotionally strong.”
Phyllis T. Mintz was 93 and in good health before she contracted COVID-19 and died on Dec. 7, 2020. She is one of many moms who will be missed this holiday.
