HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Widely scattered thunderstorms are popping up along a weak front this evening, and a few of those storms could turn severe, especially south of I-10. That's where a Severe Thunderstorm Watch is in effect until 8 p.m. We also could experience isolated instances of street flooding so make sure you take it slow on the roads.
So far, so good. There have been no warnings, and we need this rain. Both Chambers and Fort Bend Counties have been dropped from the Severe Thunderstorm Watch.
