After the session Narayanan and all others were given their employment contracts, she said.
Narayanan believed she should have been paid for the session but the company said the session was unpaid.

Krishna Narayanan, 23, was asked to attend an induction which she was told after completing would be unpaid.
A Downer Group spokeswoman said the company would “continue to follow robust hiring practices and have a clear recruitment process”.
“This is an employment relations matter and we will be going back directly to the individual to try and resolve any issue.”
Under employment law whether training was paid or not depended on the type of training.
