Maharashtra hospitals to face health audit, 4 suspended over Bhandara fire that killed 10 infants
A team led by the Nagpur Divisional Commissioner found that it was a baby warmer in the outborn ward of the Bhandara district general hospital that first caught fire on January 9.

The inquiry report into the Bhandara district hospital fire which claimed the lives of ten newborns was submitted to the Maharashtra government on January 19. Sources in the inquiry panel told India Today TV that the unfortunate incident could have been avoided if there were promptness and coordination on the part of hospital staff.
