A Hopkinton man filed false information in order to vote in the 2020 New Hampshire first-in-the-nation primary.
CONCORD, NH — A Hopkinton man pleaded guilty to wrongful voting charges from 2020, during the New Hampshire first-in-the-nation primary, according to New Hampshire Attorney General's Office.
Ole Oisin, 47, of Hopkinton pleaded guilty to two wrongful voting charges in Concord District Court on Tuesday.
According to testimony and investigatory documents, Oisin filed a voter registration with false information — specifically that he was born in "Senegal, Nation of Islam," in 1984, when he was born in Ireland. He also did not provide information that he was a naturalized citizen. On the second charge, Oisin submitted a domicile affidavit containing false material — a birthdate of 2001 and that he was born in "Senegal."
