A local nonprofit has received a grant from the Gannett Foundation to continue the hard work it has been doing to help those in need.
Hope Haven Area Development Center was the recipient of the foundation’s annual crowdsourcing and grant event, A Community Thrives.
“It has been a tremendous help to us,” said Brock Anderson, development director for Hope Haven.
Through donations received through the Gannett Foundation, the organization raised more than $6,000. Hope Haven also received a $2,500 grant directly from the foundation to help with operating expenses. This money will go toward the Integrated Supported Employment program.
