Hong Kong: Students win at science contest
A team of eight Hong Kong students has won two gold and five silver medals, one bronze medal as well as a gold award in the team competition at the 5th International Olympiad of Metropolises (IOM).
The IOM is an international competition covering informatics, mathematics, physics and chemistry.
Yeung Man-tsung from Pui Ching Middle School won a gold medal and Hsieh Chong-ho from Tsuen Wan Government Secondary School won silver in the informatics competition, while Chu Cheuk-hei and Lai Wai-lok from St Paul's Co-educational College took home gold and silver medals in the mathematics one.
