NEW DELHI: Honda Motor Europe on Thursday unveiled the all-new Honda HR-V with a hybrid powertrain. The HR-V Hybrid comes in a bid to fulfil Honda’s commitment to electrify all its mainstream European models by 2022.
The next-gen Honda HR-V is powered by Honda’s advanced e:HEV hybrid powertrain as standard. The HR-V is the latest Honda model to join the e:HEV line-up after the Honda CR-V and the Honda Jazz adopted the clean powertrain in 2020.
The 2021 Honda HR-V also boasts refreshed styling cues to reflect the new design philosophy being adopted by the recent models rolled out by the Japanese automaker. The new design includes a new integrated grille giving the SUV a bold stance, and the long bonnet with sharper detailing makes the SUV appear slightly bulked up and also reflect that there’s no change in the roominess inside.
