Honda Dealers Want Large SUV Above Pilot And An AWD Sedan
++
Dealer network boss says they'll sell whatever the customers want.
Having revived the Passport for the 2019 model year to slot between the CR-V and Pilot, some would think Honda's SUV family is complete. However, dealers in North America would beg to differ as they argue a hole needs to be filled at the very top of the sport utility vehicle lineup. In addition, dealers would also like to sell a sedan with all-wheel drive.
That’s what Honda National Dealer Advisory Board chairman, William Feinstein, told
Automotive News this week at the National Automobile Dealers Association (NADA) show. He argues Honda needs an SUV larger than the Pilot, which in its current third generation is 194.5 inches (4.94 meters) long and 78.6 inches (1.99 meters) wide.
