João Coelho Guimarães, 45, has been homeless in Goiânia, Brazil for three years
He recently walked into Padoo, a barbershop and men's clothing store, asking for a razor to shave his beard
The staff and owner Alessandro Lobo gave him a full makeover, cutting his hair and setting him up with new clothes
Lobo shared photos of Guimarães's transformation on social media to encourage others to do good things
Guimarães's mother and sister, who thought he was dead for over ten years, saw the photos and were reunited with him
The homeless man did not share how he ended up on the streets, but said that he has learned to love the lifestyle because it gives him 'freedom'
