It might just be July, but itâs never too early to start getting ready for Christmas â at least when youâre trying to raise money for gifts for kids who might not otherwise celebrate the gift-giving holiday.
âThis is a brand new event,â for Shop With a Cop fundraisers, Brittney Eberhardt, Johnson City Police MPO II, said. JCPD and Jonesborough Public Safety will sponsor a Home Run Derby July 17 at the ETSU softball field.
âETSU has generously donated their field for this event, and thankfully the cost to hold this event is small allowing all proceeds to be split between the programs,â she said.
