Home Ministry awaiting telecom department nod on continuing mobile tower services in Naxalism-hit areas

At a recent meeting chaired by Union Home Secretary Ajay Bhalla, it was conveyed to the telecom department in no uncertain terms that these mobile phone towers should remain active. Previously, a series of meetings were held on the matter.
