Home insurance startup Slide to take over 72,000 UPC policies

Startup company Slide Insurance has announced a deal to take over more than 72,000 policies from United Property & Casualty, which is exiting Florida and several other states. The deal would make Slide, an "insurtech" company that boasts use of cutting-edge data analysis to write customized policies, one of Florida's 10-largest insurers by policy count.
