HOLYOKE — The Barr Foundation awarded the Holyoke Public Schools a $750,000 grant to boost leadership development in the district.
In a statement, Acting School Receiver Anthony Soto said the district will partner with Relay Graduate School of Education, Veritas Prep Holyoke and Veritas Prep Charter School in Springfield for the initiative. He thanked the foundation for its ongoing support.
“It is a wonderful opportunity for leaders in the region to learn from each other, as well as from other leaders across the country through the work with Relay as our leadership development partner,” Soto stated.
