Hollyoaks' James Sutton on John Paul and George's abuse storyline

Hollyoaks' dramatic 2021 trailer has already hinted at John Paul McQueen and PC George Kiss' relationship turning violent, and now actor James Sutton has revealed what else is in store for his character in the coming months.
The soap's preview saw George punching John Paul during a row – and viewers are already aware of his dark past with former partner Dean – but the police officer's abuse won't stop there, according to Sutton.
Speaking to
Inside Soap, James revealed that George will "start to isolate John Paul, and take him away from his friends and family" in a move that he called "typical of abusive partners."
