HERMANUS – The law enforcement teams of the Overstrand Municipality are ready for the Festive Season and the influx of visitors during this time.
This was the message during an inspection of Law Enforcement, Traffic and Fire & Rescue Services at the launch of the Festive Season readiness plan on Tuesday 15 December in Hermanus.
Dean O’Neill, Overstrand Municipal Manager, wished all law enforcement agencies all the best for the busy season ahead and asked members to be extra vigilant against the coronavirus. “You work with the public, you are our ambassadors,” he said. “You need to ensure people adhere to Covid-19 regulations. It will not always be easy, but we have full confidence in you.”
