The Calgary man charged with two counts of first-degree murder in connection with the drug-related killings of two men more than a quarter-century ago will seek bail next month.
Defence lawyer David Roper appeared in Calgary Court of Queen’s Bench Friday on behalf of lead lawyer Balfour Der to set down a one-day hearing for June 24, for Leonard Brian Cochrane.

Roper also asked for Justice Keith Yamauchi to order Cochrane, who is currently housed at the Medicine Hat Remand Centre, brought to court in person.
