The Bay Horse in Hurworth-on-Tees that could see work done to its windows
A DARLINGTON pub could see repair and replacement work done to it a planning application to Darlington Borough Council has revealed.
The Bay Horse, in Hurworth-on-Tees, could see the repair and replacement of eight windows on the front of the building on both the ground and first floor.
The work could see the current windows replaced with single glazed timber windows to match the historic aesthetic.
The listed building dates back to early 18th and later 19th century and according to the Heritage Assessment, was featured in the 1834 edition of Pigot's Durham Trade Directory listed under Robert Hodgson as publican.
