Hippo descended from Pablo Escobar's herd dies after being hit by a car

Escobar, a billionaire drug kingpin, illegally brought some hippos into Colombia to live in his private zoo in the 1980s. Thirty years after his death, the hippos' descendants can be found living in rivers, roaming towns, and crossing roads.
