The Highland Jazz and Blues Festival first kicked-off in 2003, and has grown from a few local bands with 500-1000 people attending, to an event featuring 2 stages, 9 bands, and over 10,000 music fans all gathering in Columbia Park in Shreveport's Highland neighborhood.
