High School Sports: Soccer: Tigers add 2 more wins to undefeated season (5/4/21)

If there was any question about the 3A West boys soccer race this year, it has been answered.
The undefeated Green Forest Tigers dispensed all suspense Friday night by shutting out Life Way Christian 3-0 at Tiger Stadium.
The game was scoreless until late in the first half when senior Lah Kpro scored to put Green Forest ahead 1-0.
The Tigers put the exclamation point on their win with a pair of second-half goals — one each from sophomore Tony Gonzalez and senior Emerson Ortiz.
Before the win over Life Way Christian, Green Forest shut out Eureka Springs 8-0 on Tuesday, April 27. Ortiz scored four goals, with Gonzalez, Elvin Montoya, Gabriel Holland and Alex Alvarez each adding one goal apiece.
