REMSEN The Class 1A No. 3 ranked Remsen St. Marys baseball team had no trouble in their district opening contest against winless Storm Lake St. Marys on Monday, winning 10-0 in five innings.
The Hawks scored in all five turns at the plate in the win. Levi Waldschmitt had half of the teams six hits with two singles and a triple. He drove in a pair of runs.
Cael Ortmann added 2 RBI while Xavier Galles, Jeremy Koenck and Damen Brownmiller had the teams other hits. RSM also reached on five walks and four hit-by-pitches in the contest.
