High School Sports: Monett unaffected by class changes (4/3/21)

MSHSAA announces district assignments for spring sports
The Missouri State High School Athletics Association has released its spring sports district assignments, and while some sports grew in the number of classes, local schools remained unaffected by the changes.
Spring baseball grew from five classes to six, but Monett remained in Class 4, the same as the previous year.
Spring softball also shifted from one class to two, and boys golf moved from four classes to five. Purdy, Pierce City and Verona softball all remained in Class 1. Monett plays its softball season in the fall.
In golf, Monett, Pierce City and Purdy all stayed in the same class as the previous year.
