Olivia Zimmerman had a three-hit game while Ashlyn Winslow pitched a complete game in the Little Indians 18-3 mercy rule of Penn Hills. Indiana led 3-2 after the first inning, but a nine-run second inning, along with a six-run third, provided enough insurance to seal the early win.
Zimmerman went 3-for-3 at the plate with a double, a home run and 4 RBIs. She was helped by Ella Myers, who went 1-for-1 with three RBIs, and Regan Trusal, who plated two runs in the game. Gia Cosentino also drew two walks and stole three bases for Indiana.
