Hickory Crawdads Lose Sixth Straight Game

The Hickory Crawdads dropped the series opener against the Greensboro Grasshoppers 5-1 on Tuesday night, extending the ‘Dads losing streak to six games.
The Grasshoppers hopped on Crawdads’ starter Justin Slaten for two runs in the second inning. They tacked on another run (unearned) in the sixth off reliever Joe Kuzia. Tai Tiedemann came into the game in the seventh and allowed two runs in his two innings of work. Jean Casanova pitched a scoreless ninth.
