NEW DELHI: Former Congress spokesperson Sanjay Jha on Tuesday drew parallels between Indian cricket team's comeback in Australia and the state of the Grand Old Party in the national politics.
In a tweet, Jha suggested that the Congress party — which could manage to win only 44 seats in the 2014 Lok Sabha polls — should take inspiration from the Indian cricket team which won the Test series in Australia after a dismal performance in the first match.
"They were bowled out for 36 in the first Test. The comeback is made of fairy-tale stuff. For my good ole Grand Old Party, there is an inspirational message here. We got 44," Jha tweeted.
